Upcoming Workshop for Art Educators
CYANOTYPE
Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that results in bright blue images. Known as "sun prints," cyanotypes are made with direct exposure to the sun, which means it can be done without any special photo equipment. Students can make these fun prints with a wide range of objects such as leaves, lace, stones, stencils & photo negatives.
In this workshop, you will learn how to make cyanotype prints on both paper and fabric. In addition to the traditional cyanotype blue, you will learn how to tone your print a sepia brown color. A project lesson plan and PowerPoint of artist references are included, in addition to all supplies. This workshop is part of a series intended to be a resource for St. Louis area art educators. |
